Hi guy's
Wow ,we have been busy. I have decided to put the kiddos in school , I was thinking of homeschooling again. There are so many reasons to home school, but I need some time for me to ,I don't know how to say it..just relax. I have to get close with the Lord again before I can Home school again. So I am gonna take until November, and see how it goes please say a prayer for me I have alot going on in my mind right now. We will more than likely be moving again in Nov. This will be the third move in 3 years... My hubby has about an 1 hr commute one way,and now my 19 year has a civilian job with my hubby and he works weekends so we have been taking him back and forth, just don't trust these drivers around here to put him on the highway by his self~!!! I hope and pray for peace for all of you and hope many blessing's are coming ya'll's way~!!!!

16 years ago today I gave birth to a little baby boy..he was beautiful to me and his Daddy...~! He was perfect...However God chose to have him come and live with him on that day~! We miss him still...this day is so hard for us,,,,But I wanted to let you all know about Chase.....

Happy Memorial Day~!

I wanted to take a moment and a write about my wonderful hubby Bruce. Bruce is in the Navy and,he is a Chaplains assistant. However in a time of war he acts as a body guard for the Chaplain ,Chaplains cannot carry weapons. When he was deployed he was injured ,not life threatening ,but still he had to be flown home~! He arrived home Easter Sunday...I remember his Chaplain taking me to the flight line...I remember seeing all the wounded soldiers...I remember feeling sad..they were all on cots in this huge airplane stacked above each other,some just looking at me,others not able too~! I remember what today is about and I pray for all of our soldiers and their families. AND BRUCE I'm so proud to call you my husband~! I have to say I remember Bruce feeling sad that he had to leave all his buddies over there without him...he felt like he had let them down .Iremeber him being very quiet for a very long time after coming home.He is fine now and we have carried on,he still serves with his smile ,and that is one reason I love him so much.....

Nascar

Hi everyone...we went to Deleware last weekeend for a race..I have never been to a live race..I did grow up with my Daddy watching Nascar all the time. He still does every Sunday after Church he comes home and if theres a race on he's watching it~! We didnt stay the whole race...The kids, the youngest two were not really happy campers...there was ALOT of drinking in the stands and Alot of smoking~! We did have fun though just wish I didnt feel as though I had taken my kiddos to a bar..I do wish they would enforce some better rules., I hope your all well? I did not yardsale last weekend I have been hitting some thrift stores you do pay a bit more in the thrift stores,but still alot cheaper than new..~!

Yardsale finds

We found alot of neighboorhood sales this weekend..so much fun~! I spent a total of 11.50....almost all this stuff was free the lady was nice she just kept saying take it I need to get rid of it~! I paid 5.00 for a vrand new ice cream maker...newly wed said it was a gift she didnt want~! I paid 3.oo for the double boiler for the grill...all the books where free except 4 of them for .25 a piece...enjoy

I added the little welcome sign that I bought a couple weeks ago at a yard sale..what do you think? is it to much? I also have been seeing these candle holder projects all over blog land..so I decided to try it~! I went to the Dollar Tree..and bought 2 glass vases..and 2 glass candle holders,hot glued one on top of the other..the piece are not great ...then after seeing Pickets idea over at Pickets place..she did something similar ..she added pinto beans to her vase...I love that idea~but I have some black in my dining room and wanted to add more so I used black beans as a filler...it work's for me~!

More yard sale finds~!

I got the two jar's for .25 cent a piece..the cabinet is for my down stair's bathroom..there is no storage in there at all..I will be painting it and adding new hardware...then I'll post pic's...I think hubby paid $5.00 for it. That's all I bought this week saving my money for all the neighborhood sales this weekend~! The lamps are pics of the ones I got a few weeks ago at the first yard sales' of the season...I put the jar on my dryer with arm &hammer soda....the other one I used for doggy treat's...The old mail holder was free I am using it for dryer sheet's...I'll be posting more pic's of some thing's I have been making soon....

First yard sale of the season....

We caught some really great sales Saturday. I love going to yard sales . I thought I would post some pics of the great finds...enjoy.The chairs were .50 cent each I think I got 5 of them..I got 2 window units air conditioners still in plastic for 5.00 each. The door hangers were .50 cent each...the purse and wallet was 1.00 for both Liz Claiborne...The makeup bag was .50...all the flowers pots was 1.00 for all....the lamps and shades were 3.00 a piece. I hope I didn't forget anything..
