Moving

Hi guy's
I just wanted to let you all know i will be gone for awhile. We are moving
and our new house will be hooked up next week. I hope you all have a nice week .I hope I can find all my Christmas decorations...hmm. Thats the dilema what should I unpack first? The house ,Christmas? Wow what a move.~!I have done a shorter one though. I moved once ,we were supposed to move to I taly..(long story) but because of my youngest son's asthma we were denied. So all our stuff was on the way to Italy on a ship and we were moving about 40 miles from our current station .So when everything finally found each other  we had 15 days till Christmas,we had not bought anything because ..well we were gonna do all the shopping in Italy..wow..do I have some stories..lol~! As I said before I hope you all have a Blessed week...

Hi guys I dont know if I will post again before Thanksgiving..we will be moving the day after...~~yay!! I hope you all have a wonderful day with family and friends..it's just the 5 of us this year ,,,I will miss having Thanksgiving at my home for all the family.My niece wrote me and said she sure would miss my Turkey this year..keep us in your prayers moving isnt easy and it is really close to the hoilidays..can we say stress~!

Happy Veterans day all..and to my wonderful hubby Bruce..Thank You for serving our Country...defending our freedom and doing it with a smile..~~You are my hero baby..

I hope we all remember why this day is soooooooooo special..wishing you all a great day..remember Ft Hood families...all of the base I'm sure they are all in shock. You have a sense of security on base so I'm sure the whole base needs to be remembered. Lets remember those who have served and right now are at Walter Reed.and other hospitals all for us to have the freedom we have, to do and say, all we do and say. This is my hubby in Iraq..he is a Religious Program specialist his job in a time of war is to Guard his Chaplain .He has agreed to take a bullet for his Chaplain..Bruce was medi vacked  home

his first stop in the states was here at Andrews this is were all the wounded heros fly into .This base is their first look at the United States after a long journey.We see them going and picking them up weekly...they go about 5 mph...it's a convoy of vehicles

I'm sure they cant go any faster because of the injuries..I'll try and get pics of that and post soon...

New House

We have gotten a new home. We got to go look at only the outside so it was hard. I was bending down peaking into the windows..lol``
The kids seemed to love it. They have a park to play at that I can see from my window.
Moving is always hard .We are in a very metropolitan area here..D.C. it  is full of crime and the schools are the worst I have ever seen..so this is why were moving. My poor hubby his commute scares me..first a bus to the Marc train into union station..then the metro,then another bus..ya'll we are country folk..that's scary we havent even taken the metro since we have been here..we were about to then they had that horrible accident.

Did ya'll hear about the crash ? that was so sad..but thats life here ,it just kept going..I pass little kids in school uniforms getting onto public transportation to go to school,and I think how blessed I have been thru life.So I hope and pray this is the right move. I hope you all have a wonderful sunday..I think were going to the Washington National Cathedral National  day of Marine Prayer..it is a beautiful service we went last year.The cathedral is an amazing place to see if you ever get to D.C. make that your first stop it is awesome.

1can whole cranberry
1-can manderin oranges
1-can peach pie filling

drain the oranges mix all together..and enjoy


my 11 year old daughter ask for this all year.I wanted to incorporate cranberry into the dinner..and came up with this,,,it is good I hope you all enjoy it

Prayers needed

I was so scared ealier..I got a call from my sister that my Mom had fallen and might have broken some bones.  I was so scared being this far away...Thats the life of the Military spouse.....My parents have a close relationship with my kids..even though we have lived all over the place and manage to move every three to four years. But I still wish I could see them every day. It seems she broke her wrist and will need to see a surgeon about it. I spoke with her and she is in pain and kind of sick to her stomach..
I just wish I could be with her,,,please keep her in your prayers and me as I miss her so much and want to be with her right now and cant..
I have managed to pack a few rooms for  the move that seems to be going slow..I;m just so tired of moving..but this move is for the best..so please keep us in your prayers..

New camera

Well we bought a new camera..I dont like it at all.. I will post a few pics of my babies last night .They had sooo much fun. We all did. it is so safe here on base and they got lots of candy....!!!!~~~. We did smores and cartoon scary movie after we got home last night .  I hope you all had a wonderful night last night.
