Well I'm making a Butter pecan cake with carmel frosting...mmm..sounds good !!! we will see. Another day researching homeschooling material...It looks like another year of homeschooling...we are still waiting on the banks with answers to the home in Florida..I hope God has the upper hand in this situation..the kids are ready to go back to school and see their cousins..I should say I know God will have the upper hand..

I am gonna see about pics of the ducks that seem to have moved in .They come twicw a day to feed in my yard...wow bread can be expensive... theese guy's love to eat.

Hello all..

It's been a busy weekend..I started Homeschooling again Monday...So I have been busy.
I may be moving back to Florida..we have a home there that is not selliing..We bought at a high end...you remember when things were selling for way more than they were worth??????? So we have lost a lot of money..If we move home that would mean leaving my wonderful hubby behind...and being seperated over 2 years...ughhhh...so if you can remeber us in your prayers that would be great...I pray for God'a will to be done... I talk to mom daily she is ready to come back up...it sounds so funny to say come up..I have always said down...for a visit..(you know when are y'all coming down?)I am posting those pics today my hubby showed me how to get to my pics...

Well my parents have left....yes I'm sad but I know they wanted to get back to their place...I really miss my Mom and Dad..my whole family..we are a close group..I was reading Picketts post ..I also am doing farmville on facebook..Although I am nowhere near her leval..still trying to figure it out????????? I think I will post a few pic,,,of my parents visit again...

The 4th of July

Hi y'all ..i hope you all had a great 4th??? We had a blast. We sat on the Potomac..
at Bolling AFB... The kids thought we sat to far away..ha!! I wasn't going into D.C!!
The crowds were horrible..I always like to know we have a way out of a situation..


I loved seeing the fireworks on the Potomac..lots of history.
My Momma and Daddy loved it also..they leave Tuesday..I am sad.
after 2 weeks .It has been a great visit...That is the hardest part of being Military..leaving your family behind...I miss them all.

Another day in D.c.

Hello all!!,,,My Mom and Dad are visiting..we have been busy,busy,busy...
I dont think you can see D.C. IN A DAY? So we have been seeing it daily!!!

I hope everyone in blogland is great? As you all know my husband is Military
so we are looking forward to some days off for the 4th of July!!!

I think he has what they a 96....that is 96 hrs off!!!yay!!
I hope you all have a great 4th.

After visiting Arlington and the unknown soldiers grave...be thankful for the Country you live in. If you happen to see any Military personel tell them
Thank You..I can tell you they really appreciate knowing that!!!

Living and breathing Military daily can be over whelming @ times...
but I am so proud of my husband....

Just watching the kids playing outside. They are having so much fun...sidewalk chalk,hopscotch.. just old fashioned fun.. it dont takeas much as we think to make them happy?

I told them when they wake up in the morning clean your rooms and then we will go to the pool...They are so excited to clean their rooms.

I am so used to the heat of the south ...Maryland is not as hot as I'm used to .It seems to me the pool is not warm enough for me. But you know kids they like it anyway,

So I thought I would take a book and actually read!! Wish me luck...

I had a few good yardsale finds this weekend. I really just went to thirfting..
I only ran across 2 yardsales!!! As soon as i learn to post pictures I will.

Happy Friday!!
I really dont like Fridays anymore!!My husbanD has evening parades during the summer months.. They are held at the Marine Barracks In Washington D.C..

And now he also has parades at the Iwo Jima on Tuesday nights...Oh,, I so love the Military thing...(not) I mean the duty thing it is so hard at times.I lived a whole year on my own once with two children...my heart goes out to single parents..Bruce was deployed for a year..Then he went to Iraq..wow it has been hard at times..but we made it!!

Now if I can get used to D.C? this has been a tuff adjustment!!! I really miss my family!! I was home for 3 years with them so this has been a tuff 9 mths..I am not really a city girl .I am finding that out the hard way!!

So this is how I started the bloggs ...You guys are my new friends.. Really it helps reading about others ..enjoying the same things.. so to all of you

Hi..and cranberry salad

Hello to all.I hope you all in blogland are all well. I am getting this.Now I have to figure out how to post pictures for Kellys blog.We live in Millitary housing .It is old housing. We are supposed to moving to a new house soon. They are consrtucting new ones all over base. We live on Andrew's AFB. This as far North as I have ever lived.And yes I say North.When you cant get sweet tea in a reasturant it's the North people.And I dont like the cold weather 6-7 mnths out of the year. I was born and Raised in Florida.Some do not consider that the South but I do..especially when all your family raising you is from Alabama and Mississippi .I am a southern girl.. I too like all things from the south.Hey I have a good recipe for ya'll. Cranbery salad..

1-can of whole cranberry
1-can of peach pie filling
1- small can of mandarin oranges drained
mix all ingrediants and chill.
My kids love this. I wanted to incorporate cranbery for Thanksgiving and this come up.. I would like to ask for forgivness in my spelling and grammer..I have never been good at typing.. so I am still learning,,Thanks for all the support...

Hi guys
I have gotten a few comments yay!!! I love reading blogs,so we will see how writing one goes. Well I got my oldest sons room done .He said thanks mom i have a ton more room in here. I guess he does!! you can now see the floor and the closet has a top and bottom again....wow that was a tough job ,Chad is 18 and graduated this year .HE is still trying to find himself,moving to a new state your senior year and then being homeschooled on top of that. Well lets just say he is an awesome kid!! God has blessed me with my children. I told Chad not to rush he has a long road ahead of him he can live with us and go to school as long as he goes to school full time if not he has to work!! I will not support a grown man.. he has so many things he wants to do so this will be a long journey for him. I want to make sure he is sure of himself and his dreams before he goes into the world on his own...I need help in leaning how to let go? How do you let them spraed their wings? How after many nights of siiting up with them when their sick,first day of school, first words..letting them drive on their own the first time..how do you let them leave the nest? Happy Memorial day everyone..

My husband is active duty Navy.. So today was a lazy day..cooked out and cleaned ha!!
My mom called first thing this morning and thanked my husband for his service to our Country!!
Cooked some pecan pie muffins and Neiman Marcas bars.. I have to post some more recipes soon.. Memorial day is special to us.. We are a Military family ,,My Dad Was Army,His Dad Navy,His grandfather Marine...mine Army..lots of family has served over the years..so God Bless you all that serve and Thank you all...Blessings..

5th Day

It's Friday!!! YaY.. It is a three day weekeend for us.. I need a break.
I was in Florida last week for my Dad's surgery.Then coming home and catching up on home schooling well it has made me really tired.I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

It is my fourth day... How long do these things take? I need to learn how to go from one blog to another. My daughter has testing all week. The homeschoolers get together and test .
