On a sad note a fellow blogger has passed away..The Thrifty Chick...she was a young mom had 4 young children the youngest 2 weeks old I believe.Please pray for this family...she passed the 13 Th of July from a stroke.Goes to show we never know how we have here with our loved ones...I wished I knew how to do a link to her site...Blessings

peach cobbler

The cake was ok...a little grainy from the brown sugar..next time i'll add more milk. I have a good recipe..from my granny...I dont have pics...we ate it to fast.


1-stick of butter
1-cup of milk
1-cup self rising flour
1-large can peaches
1/2 cup blueberries

place stick of butter in 9x13 pan in oven set at 350.
as butter is melting..mix together,flour,milk,

once the butter melts pull out of oven add peaches on top of melted butter,then just sprinkl;e blueberries on top of that,then pour flour mixture over peach mixture.
Bake at 350 for about 30-40 min...depending on oven...this is good...
